Humans in a Hampster Wheel

Before I begin this technological rant, I am going to tell you that this is the coolest thing I have ever heard of.

Okay... now for the endless babble that makes up my grade: The Green Revolution Inc. has created a device that is capable of harnessing the energy expended on cardio equipment at the gym.

It is the classic hampster in a wheel experiment. A small piece of equipment is attached to a workout machine, and the energy expended from any given workout is sent to some sort of electrical storage place.

Jay Whelan, the CEO of Green Revolution, says that the power of 20 bikes in a year can light up 72 homes for a month.

Why am I so excited about this?... Because this guy has solved two problems in one: Renewable energy and obesity in America.
