Google never ceases to amaze me. First, they come out with a rockin' search engine. Then then go and make all sorts of free applications and what not. THEN they make a phone.
But that was all last week... literally. THIS WEEK Google is moving on to bigger, better things. Cars.
Google and GE are teaming up to help create a national electricity grid that can support cleaner forms of energy, such as hybrid cars. They say that electricity has been used the same way since it was discovered over 100 years ago, and they believe they can modify it to fit today's standards. While Google is working on the software of the plan, GE will be working on the more mechanical, nuts and bolts of the project. To read more about this, follow this link.
